Programming Structure in Etoys

The painted object presents the user with an iconic representation. The manipulation and the change of characteristics or behaviors of object can be done by changing its values and settings in its viewer.

Through exploration, children will realize each value they changed or made can set the foundation for further action. Since the children keen to look upon what will happen to their object. What interest the children most is the 'before and after effects'. This concept is also been implemented and discussed in the Comics and Programming project.
