Constructivism and the Five E's

I have designed a teaching plan using these guidelines, Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate, which describes the expected phase of learning. The Five E's is an instructional model based on the constructivist approach to learning. Learners build or construct new ideas on top of their old ideas in the process of learning. It is designed to increase student engagement, motivation, and achievement. I have a positive feeling that these 'E's will eventually get along with the idea of learning by doing.
