Finally, I have presented my work. It took me almost 3 weeks to prepare and every night I had dreams about it. Last night was the worst. It took me approx. 20 minutes to present and another 10 minutes to answer all questions. It was pretty impressive seeing that people really have interest in what I'm doing and keeping themselves awake instead of sleeping throughout the presentation. What else could I say, it almost 5:30 pm and it's getting darker.
One particular comments from my supervisor..."please make sure you answer the question KISS...simple and short". I couldn't help it, I'm a teacher and that is one of the main habit that any teacher will have. I like to explain more so people can really understand each word that came out from my mouth. On the other side of the coin, I'm using English which is obviously is my second language :)I like the way my supervisor told me just now..."Now you know where you stand and how to move on." I guess he's right! What a tremendous feeling you will have right after the moment you finished presenting your work.
But, already I have 3 possible papers to be written next. Good luck to me!
